Research Reflection

So far with my research project I am lost with where we are supposed to be and everything so far. At the beginning I chose my vulnerable population to be homeless people which I would like to learn more about and how they survive on the streets but finding books and scholarly articles about it has been a struggle.

Hi Livvie,

Were we able to schedule an appointment yet to get you un-confused?

Remember there are two major research assignments for the class:

1. Semester research project, where you are learning about the homeless;

2. Alternative viewpoints paper, where you are evaluating three news articles on an LGBT population/issue.

Will you be able to see me on Tuesday to get caught up? We have been emailing back and forth. I look forward to your response.

Sincerely,
Professor Wexelbaum

Hi Livvie,

Thank you for your email. This post is supposed to be the start of your Alternative Viewpoints paper. Here are the questions for Assignment #10 (remember we have a revised syllabus)?

Assignment 10: Blog Entry: Research Reflection

What “LGBT population” do you think you should learn more about over the course of this semester? Why?
 What do you assume to be true about this population?
 Where did you learn this from?
 What do you think will be the most difficult challenge that you will have in doing research on the population or issue that you have selected?

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
Professor Wexelbaum

Sorry about not getting back my computer wouldn't work over the weekend, and I think I am more clear on what I was looking for from what you have commented. I was confused on the research project and the alternative paper. I will just talk to you quick before class today to get caught up.
